Sibiu – a preserved city

Sibiu is a city situated in the center of Romania, that attracts every year thousands of tourists that come here to see the beauty of the nature and the tourism objectives.
Declared the capital of European culture in 2007, Sibiu is proud with its historical centre that is very well preserved, that local administration is trying to pass it in to the UNESCO Patrimony.
If you visit Sibiu, you can not miss visiting the next tourism objectives:
-    The National Museum Brukenthal, the first museum opened in Romania (25 February 1817)
-    The National Complex Museum Astra, which is the biggest outdoor museum in Europe.
-    The Sfatului Tower
-    The Evangelical Church (built between 1371 and 1520)
-    The Minciunilor Bridge (The Bridge of Lies), which is the first cast iron bridge ever built in Romania
The city attracts tourists by its own beauty, very clean and natural places, and of
course its incredible geographical location.
For the snow lovers, at about 37 kilometers from Sibiu there is a ski slope at Paltinis.
